I LOVE salmon and eat a ton of it. So yes, here is another recipe from me for salmon. It’s very similar to my other salmon recipe
but this is even more simplified! And if you’ve seen my latest post
you know that I’m all about easy, breezy and SIMPLE.
This is a MUST try. How can you beat such a SUPER EASY PALEO recipe like this? Best. Salmon. Ever. I discovered this accidentally (which is usually how I roll):
-1 salmon filet
Put some olive oil in a fry pan. You don’t need much. Add a salmon filet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and chili powder (however much you like). Cover and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes (more or less depending on how “well” you like your fish). That’s it! The cinnamon, chili powder and olive oil combo makes for a little crispiness on the edges and bottom of the fish. IT IS INSANELY GOOD and has a fantastic sweetness to it. If you try it, let me know what you think!
I didn’t take a picture when I originally posted this recipe because I was so involved in eating it that I forgot. So…
Update! As promised and because I am a woman of my word, here is a picture! It does look funky here (I am not a photographer, clearly, and need to develop some plating skills) but it tastes good, I promise. So while my perfectionist self is freaking out about this picture, all I can say again is I am a woman of my word (so much so that I am posting a funky food picture because I promised it to you, and trying really hard to hush that annoying perfectionist voice in my head). This makes me curious and raises a question. Is there such thing as being too much of a woman of my word?
I couldn’t hush the perfectionist! Or maybe it’s the OCD. Regardless, here’s today’s version of the salmon, topping my zucchini and Granny Smith apple noodles. I’m happy now. So is the perfectionist. And the OCD seems satisfied (but probably for only about 30 seconds).
